About the Opportunity
An established clinical research organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Trials Coordinator to lead the successful delivery of clinical studies while supporting and developing a high-performing site operations team. This position combines hands-on study coordination with people leadership, quality oversight, and stakeholder management to ensure exceptional participant experiences and high-quality research outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the delivery of multiple clinical trials, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements are met.
- Lead, mentor and develop Clinical Trial Coordinators, Research Assistants and support staff through coaching, performance management and training.
- Monitor study progress, recruitment performance, data quality, protocol compliance and issue resolution across allocated projects.
- Build strong relationships with sponsors, CROs, investigators and internal stakeholders, acting as a key operational contact.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across trial processes, documentation, training and operational efficiency.
- Support project planning, resource allocation, reporting and risk management to ensure successful study execution.
- Promote a collaborative, compliant and patient-focused culture while maintaining GCP and regulatory standards.
About You
- Previous experience in a Senior Clinical Trial Coordinator, Clinical Trial Coordinator Team Lead or similar leadership role within clinical research.
- Strong knowledge of clinical trial operations, ICH-GCP and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent organisational, stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing competing priorities across multiple studies in a fast-paced environment.
- Tertiary qualification in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy or a related discipline.
