Quality Associate-Second Shift
Job Description
Position Overview
A growing life sciences and healthcare supply chain organization is seeking a Quality Associate to support quality operations within a regulated warehouse and cleanroom environment. This role is responsible for material inspections, quality documentation, compliance activities, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet established quality and regulatory standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, GMP environments, or regulated supply chain operations who are looking to grow their careers in the life sciences industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and quality checks on incoming materials, components, and products.
- Review documentation for accuracy and identify discrepancies or quality concerns.
- Support investigations and resolution of non-conforming materials and quality events.
- Maintain quality records and documentation within electronic quality management systems.
- Ensure compliance with GMP regulations, standard operating procedures, and client requirements.
- Collaborate with operations, inventory, and leadership teams to maintain product integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Assist with product segregation, labeling, and material disposition activities.
- Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders regarding quality issues and resolutions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, compliance, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Warehouse Operations, or another regulated environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience working within GMP, FDA-regulated, pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare environments.
- Cleanroom experience.
- Forklift experience or certification.
Work Environment
- Combination of warehouse, office, and controlled environments.
- Exposure to temperature-controlled areas, including refrigerated and ambient storage locations.
- Fast-paced environment with a strong focus on quality and compliance.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Training
- Initial training may require travel to a U.S. training facility.
- All approved travel and training expenses will be covered by the employer.
