In this role, you will lead safety evaluations, manage safety signals, contribute to risk management strategies, and collaborate with international teams to uphold regulatory compliance. Your expertise will directly impact the safety profile of critical treatments, especially in Oncology, as you work alongside renowned professionals.
What skills are essential?
- Medical degree with a UK GMC-approved registration or equivalent
- Proven experience in clinical medicine and post-registration roles
- Demonstrated expertise in pharmacovigilance, ideally with oncology products
- Strong knowledge of European and international pharmacovigilance regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a global team
Nice-to-have skills:
- Previous experience with Oncology product safety in development or marketed
- Knowledge of clinical trial safety processes
- Experience preparing regulatory safety reports and risk management plans
Preferred education and experience:
- Medical degree (MD, MBBS or equivalent)
- Significant post-registration clinical experience
- Prior pharmacovigilance roles with a track record of success
- Familiarity with clinical study safety components and regulatory affairs
Other requirements:
- Ability to participate in international safety review meetings
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of pharmacovigilance practice
