Account Manager – Life Science Sales

About the Japan Operation
The organization has a well-established presence in Japan’s molecular diagnostics and life science markets, operating through a hybrid direct-and-partner model. The Japan team focuses on workflow-driven solutions and strong channel collaboration to support customers across research, clinical, and applied segments.
Role Overview
This position is part of a growing life science commercial team in Japan, responsible for driving customer engagement and revenue growth within an assigned territory. The role focuses on building strong customer relationships, positioning a diverse product portfolio, and working closely with local partners to expand market presence.
What You Will Do

Territory Ownership — Manage a defined region and product portfolio, ensuring strong market coverage and customer engagement.

Customer Development — Build relationships with key decision?makers, understand customer needs, and deliver solutions that drive satisfaction and loyalty.

Sales Execution — Apply consultative selling skills, identify opportunities, and execute account strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.

Partner Collaboration — Work with local distributors to align on priorities, support joint activities, and deliver on annual sales objectives.

Strategic Implementation — Translate commercial strategy into actionable plans for key accounts and ensure consistent follow?through.
What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, ideally with exposure to life sciences or related fields

Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience

Strong communication and relationship?building skills

Ability to manage a territory independently while collaborating with internal and external partners
