Quantitative Sciences – Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomarker Biostatistics Lead to join a dynamic team focused on groundbreaking biomarker discovery and functional genomics analysis. This pivotal role will drive the bioinformatic analysis of high-throughput genomics data to identify predictive, diagnostic, and pharmacodynamic biomarkers, shaping the future of personalized medicine. Required Skills:

  • Expert proficiency in R and Bioconductor for bioinformatics data analysis
  • Strong background in functional genomics and high-throughput data processing
  • Experience in biomarker discovery, development, and validation
  • Solid understanding of biostatistics principles and their application to genomics
  • Proven ability to design and interpret complex biological data analyses
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with other statistical programming languages (e.g., Python, SAS)
  • Knowledge of clinical trial methodologies and pharmacodynamics
  • Prior experience working in a biotech or pharmaceutical research setting
  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques applied to genomics data

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Advanced degree (PhD or MSc) in Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in bioinformatics analysis, biomarker research, or a similar role
  • Demonstrated success in leading bioinformatics projects from inception to publication
