Join Our Team as the Director, Business Development, Compliance & Quality Assurance (CQA) – Germany

Are you a seasoned business development professional with a passion for compliance and quality assurance within the life sciences sector? Do you thrive in dynamic, high-growth environments and have a proven track record of building strategic relationships and driving revenue? We’re seeking an accomplished Director to lead our business development efforts in Germany, with a focus on Compliance & Quality Assurance (CQA) services, to help shape the future of healthcare innovation across the DACH region.

In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive industry experience to identify new opportunities, cultivate long-term client partnerships, and position our organization as a leader in CQA solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in expanding our footprint and delivering impactful results that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A minimum of 10+ years of successful B2B sales or business development experience within the life sciences, biotech, pharma, or medical device sectors.
  • Demonstrable success in positioning compliance or quality assurance services, or closely related fields such as project management, clinical, or consultancy roles with a focus on CQV/CQV/CSV.
  • Strong background working directly with regulatory sciences, clinical research, or related consulting services.
  • Proven ability to generate and close high-value deals, with data-backed performance examples.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of the DACH market dynamics, with a strong network within Germany.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience working with CROs, consultancies, or service providers specialising in compliance and QA solutions.
  • Technical knowledge of regulatory frameworks, GxP, or R&D technology.
  • Multilingual capabilities, especially German proficiency.
  • Previous exposure to senior sales roles in medical devices, pharma, or biotech sectors.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of sales or business development within the life sciences industry, with a focus on compliance, quality assurance, or related services.
  • Prior leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
