Inventory Control Supervisor
Job Description
Inventory Control Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily inventory control activities and warehouse inventory personnel.
- Ensure accurate inventory transactions, cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances.
- Monitor inventory movement and maintain inventory integrity throughout the facility.
- Assign and prioritize daily work activities to meet operational objectives.
- Coach, train, and develop team members to drive performance and accountability.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and inventory accuracy metrics.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Collaborate with warehouse, operations, customer service, and other internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety programs, and operational procedures.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and inventory software to support operations.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related leadership role.
- Experience supervising or leading warehouse personnel.
- Strong understanding of inventory management processes and cycle counting.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and warehouse systems.
Preferred
- Experience using SAP, WMS, or other inventory management software.
- Forklift operation experience or certification.
- Experience in manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or third-party logistics (3PL) environments.

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds as needed.
