As Manager of Trial Supplies Management, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the seamless planning, coordination, and delivery of clinical trial materials across multiple phases and regions. This role offers the chance to lead vital supply chain operations that directly impact patient outcomes, with periodic visits to our office.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute comprehensive supply strategies for investigational products, collaborating closely with internal teams and external vendors.
- Manage the lifecycle of clinical supplies, including forecasting, packaging, labelling, distribution, and inventory management within IRT systems.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure timely batch release, adherence to regulatory standards, and site readiness.
- Monitor and respond to supply issues, expiry extensions, and supply chain risks, implementing mitigation plans as needed.
- Support continuous process improvements to optimize supply chain performance and compliance.
- Take ownership of assigned assets, managing the supply needs across various clinical studies, phases, and therapeutic areas.
Who You Are:
- You bring 2-3 years of experience in clinical supply chain management or logistics within the pharmaceutical industry.
- You demonstrate strong knowledge of clinical trial supply processes, including packaging, labelling, distribution, and IRT systems.
- You possess a solid understanding of start-up to close-out phases across multiple clinical studies and a good grasp of GCP, GDP, and GMP standards.
- Your global trial experience spans diverse study types and therapeutic areas, with a preference for candidates familiar with international regulations.
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field and possess excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with forecasting, planning, and regulatory import/export requirements is a plus.
Additional Skills That Would Make You Stand Out:
- Prior experience managing supply strategies for complex, multi-phase trials.
- Knowledge of CTMS systems and industry technologies.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Certifications related to GMP or clinical supply chain management are advantageous.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline.
- 2-3 years of relevant global clinical supply chain experience within pharma, including exposure to multiple study phases.
